I know it has been a while since I posted. However, I will make this as brief as possible. From my last post, I started going to a new college/university where I am studying criminal justice and life sciences. A few months ago, I went to South America to attend a cousin's wedding and to visit family and friends. The trip was a disaster in which the wedding was the only good thing. I had my purse stolen, my family had to deal with bronchitis and smoke inhalation. We are fine now!

Till Whenever

This Mother's Day, I took my mom out for lunch at our favorite French restaurant. The food was delicious and fabulous.

After dealing with a semester filled with exams, a research paper and a project, I found out that I got an A in each class. I am so proud of myself. However, I have no idea what I am going to do for the Fall semester.

My book is in printing production now. I can't wait to see the finished product.

I finally caught up with some of my fan fiction stories. I still have plenty to update, but life and the occasional writer's block gets in the way. Believe me, I try to make time for these project.

Till whenever!

I am sorry, I hadn't updated in weeks. I've been really busy!

This past Tuesday, I started to make my very first homemade batch of chocolate truffles. After three days of allowing the ganache to harden in the fridge, I shape it into small truffles and rolled them in cocoa powder. I tried half of one and it was delicious.

Tonight, I made risotto to accompany the shrimp that my mom was sauteeing. It was a simple one and it was something different. I hadn't made a risotto in a while, but I hadn't lost my touch. It was awesome.

I am disappointed, but proud of myself at the same time. I am hoping to have my manuscript published by one of those self-publishing/print on demand sites. Hopes will be kept on neutral, but I hope for the best!

Recently, I had purchased a balance ball because I wanted to add that to my workout repertoire. Yesterday, I bought a DVD for a complete ball workout (there was a sample workout included with the balance ball kit).
Thanksgiving Day Report

Yesterday, I had a rather interesting Thanksgiving. It was a pot luck dinch (dinner and lunch) at my church. My family made two versions of the same chocolate pudding and ladyfingers dessert: one with Kahlua and the other without the liquor. I ate really good food and drank three glasses of wine (I didn't get drunk, thank you). For dessert I had a slice of pumpkin pie (or was it sweet potato pie?) and a little bit of the two version of my dessert (they were both yummy).

When we arrived at my parents' house, I started working on my synopsis of my manuscript for a contest I plan to enter. At first, I had no clue on what I should write, but it came to me. I am making some good progress.

I saw the new episode of CSI and it was one of the most interesting. The eppy of Shark was just as interesting.

I wanted to do Pilates last night, but I was too tired.

Till next time, whenever that will be!

A few days ago, I visited ASU (Arizona State University) West in the Phoenix area. I wanted to work on my study Criminal Justice/Criminology/Forensics/Criminalistics for my second bachelors degree. When I told a department advisor that I already have a BA in Sociology, she told me that should go for my masters in Criminal Justice. I thought it was a little too forward. I am taking undergrad courses to learn more about the field and to make my transcripts look better. I am not sure if I am ready for it or if perspective employers would consider it. I have a lot of debating to do in this issue.

My friend since we were in diapers (our moms have been friends for a long time) recently gave birth to a baby girl. One of my sorority sisters is expecting a baby boy. Another sister probably had hers, but I am not sure if it's a boy or a girl (AKA legacy). Now, my mom is probably guilt tripping me to look for a man, settle down and have children. I am going to be 34 in January and with one remaining ovary (I lost one to a tumor, but it was benign), I am not sure if I could have at least two before the clock stops ticking.

I have been doing a lot fiction writing, mostly fan fiction as well as my original works. I enjoy it and it's relaxing. I love being creative and have fun writing.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHH! I was doing some research because I needed to find the name of a simple apparatus for one of my stories. I tried to get the website, but I got some stupid fucking page that said internal error or it couldn't be found. Sometimes, searching the internet can be very frustrating!

Till next time!

I'm not 30-something, I'm $29.95 plus shipping and handling. Another way I could say it is I am 21 with 12 years experience or 18 with 15 years experience.

I just say I am 33, but a lot of people don't believe me because I look younger than my actual age. They say I look somewhere between 16-23. Makes me wonder when I reach 40 something, will they say I look 26-33? I will weigh that answer out!
